The future is the world that you and I paint together
Yuuki's message

Pink blinking kitty
Since EllDorado finally posted their messages about the disbandment on their official board, I translated what Yuuki had to say. Since he's my favorite, and his post was the longest, cheesiest, and everyone else was basically saying the same thing in less words. Plus I've never seen anyone use "vector" as a word outside of mathematics.

Pardon the Engrishy parts, he rambles on like nothin else and I tried to keep the structure similar. He uses the phenomenom of "catching on fire" several times but I only translated it like that once.. it's like.. just to have an awesome time. You can figure it out. I put my translation notes in [brackets].

I want to convey honest words to everyone who's always provided support to EllDorado, but I can't really say it well so I hope you understand. EllDorado is breaking up in August. After a time of 5 years passing, in regards to our band's way of thinking, the vector of our way of thinking to progress to the future ended up changing course, and the five of us talked about it many many times. While of course we had arguments, in the end our answer was disbanding.
What started as five people chasing the dream called ElDorado [as in, the legendary place?], through happy things and sad things, beautiful things and shameful things, strong things and at weak times, being able to see so much, it seems like EllDorado only exists with these five people, and being EllDorado with these five people was truly good.

We don't regret what we came to.

And all you beloved people, fans, staff, guests [kankeisha, like special guests/friends/family] who supported all of EllDorado's activity from your hearts, we were truly happy. We think that without you, we would have been nothing at all. Traveling the entire country, meeting and being supported by so many people, up until now. Thank you, truly.

(continued in new post)

No matter how many times we say it, we still want to convey thanks and gratitude.
And now that you've accepted the reality of disbanding, I think you will move on. But to the fans who only have cruel things to say, this is my answer: I'm sorry.
But I will never forget all the memories of everyone who always liked the band, supported us and went to many lives, and did their best together with us. Up until now, life was my first youth [as in, best time of his life]. All the members, staff, guests, and all the fans are an irreplaceable existance for me. Everyone who I've met in the past 5 years, truly, thank you very much. At our last live, we want to play so hard and go out with a blaze, so we will end as a wonderful band. I think with my pride of being the vocalist of EllDorado, and the love of all the people who support us, and holding the dream of EllDorado, I will put forth all my strength and create the best performance. All the fans, at the last live please enjoy from your hearts, throughout your body, and together we will catch fire! I'm waiting for you. Thank you so much for these 5 years.

God knows >< He was probably referring to how a lot of people will suddenly act like they hate the band, angry that they broke up, or whatever. But there was some drama on the BBS last week where someone posted pretending to be Shunsuke... Japanese girls can be seriously rude when they want. @_@

Well damn. There goes another Kick-ass band. That's a shame though. I'm sorry to see them go, but they have their reasons. I hope they continue to be involved in music one way or snother. *sigh* Your right japanese fans can be outright vicious, but on the same hand so can other foreign fans as well. I don't know about to that degree though. *shakes head*

I think foreign fans can be just as bad if not worse, x_x it's just more surprising when it comes from Japanese fans who are usually so reserved and polite. Although they can be rude to other fans at concerts and such, I think it's rarer to see it.

I really like that. It's very honest. I only wish I could have known them better. But, I'm glad I got to see them when I did, and I know their last lives will be awesome. I'm glad you're going Krys! Catch the fire! (^_^)
